Agriturismo I Greppioli

We spent Easter Monday here for lunch with friends and felt right at home, like being at a grandmother’s place in the countryside. The setting is green and peaceful, with plenty of fresh air, and it was easy to reach. There’s parking in the small lot beside the agriturismo. The food is all about good ingredients and the way things used to be made: tagliatelle, wild boar, tagliata, baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, cheeses, and cured meats. No special effects, just top-quality, genuine food. The owners were warm and always happy to help. Excellent value for money. If you enjoy authentic cooking, this place is well worth a visit. The view of the Pisan (Lorenzanese) hills is lovely, and the setting feels properly rural. We had excellent food served on a tray in the old-fashioned way, which suits this agriturismo’s homey feel. Everything is made by them, from the homemade pasta to the beef raised on their farm, along with poultry and other home-made meats. Really good quality for the price, and definitely worth trying.

Massimo and Gilda are fantastic hosts, the kind of people you don’t come across every day. The room was spacious, attractive, practical, and perfectly clean. We also loved the home-cooked food, and the value was excellent. I can see why the reviews led me to choose this agriturismo.

We stopped for a meal at this small, welcoming restaurant during the Easter break and had a really nice time. The local produce tasted fresh, and the wine was good too. If you’re nearby, it’s worth dropping in for something to eat. See you again soon.
