Casale al Mare

Our two weeks here were wonderful. The apartment's balcony gave us a view of Loreto, and inside it was beautiful and had all the comforts we needed. The owners were welcoming, kind, and helpful, with information that made planning our time easier. We were also well placed for visiting the nearby towns, beaches, and the Conero area, all just a few kilometers away. Adele, Gian, Luca, and Neve

Casale al Mare suited our small family perfectly. We're a couple traveling with an elderly disabled person, so having the bedrooms close together and two bathrooms mattered a lot. The apartment had everything we needed, right down to corkscrews, kitchen scissors, dish soap, laundry detergent, and bathroom supplies. Soft, fluffy towels made it feel homely, as did Gaetano and Roberta, who were discreet and helpful. We were there for the last eight days of October. Despite the fog back home in the Po Valley, we got sunny weather and ate lunch on the balcony every day. The location is handy too. We cycled into the center and along the seafront, then covered several kilometers to both the north and south. Marcelli, Numana, and Sirolo to the north could fill a whole vacation. We also went to Portonovo, an enchanting bay in the heart of the Conero, explored mountain trails, and visited hilltop villages in the beautiful, relaxing countryside. From the house, we walked for about an hour to Loreto and its sacred sites. We'd love to come back and stay longer. The area is well worth it: traditional food, especially brodetto, and dishes from inland restaurants Gaetano recommended, with Marche flavors at very reasonable prices.
