My daughter and I stayed in Loreto for 10 days, and Paolo was an excellent host. He helped with everything we needed and went out of his way throughout our stay. When we needed somewhere to do laundry, he kindly drove us there. The location suited us well, close to the Holy house and a nearby supermarket. I really recommend this place.

Getting inside was a frustrating start: it took 40 minutes, the phone number was constantly engaged, and the doorbell didn't seem to work. Eventually, rattling the door very hard got someone's attention. The room itself was clean and a good size, and the location is close to all the sights. The restaurant was closed, though, and finding dinner on a Sunday evening was difficult.

Paolo was a wonderful, welcoming host. He made breakfast 30 minutes early for our early flight and called us a taxi the day before. Our room looked out over the Mediterranean coast, and the rooftop seating area had a breathtaking view. The place isn't accessible for wheelchair users. Highly recommended for families and people on a budget. €

We only stayed one night to see the sanctuary. It's a very basic place, and there was no fridge in the room. In summer, that really matters.

Paying at check-in turned out to be a mistake. The room's heating and air conditioning didn't work, even when switched on. On top of that, the hot water was off from 8:00 PM until the next morning, when we were leaving. What can I say?
