Hotel Giardinetto

The air conditioner was broken, and so was the elevator. I had to carry all my bags down the stairs.

I saw the rooms during a job interview and wasn't impressed. I've seen much bigger rooms with more space to move around. The location is central, so there's plenty of noise and bustle. The restaurant mostly serves fish, including quite a bit of lake fish, and I eat very little fish, especially from lakes.

We had a really pleasant stay. The owners and managers were kind, and the cleaning staff were lovely too. The room itself was small, though the bathroom had plenty of space and a separate vanity area. There’s a lift, and while there’s no air conditioning, we had a standing fan. The facilities are getting old but still work fine. It’s a great spot for the sanctuary, the old town, and all the nearby places to eat or shop, just a few minutes on foot. A simple hotel without many frills, suited to pilgrims and tourists.

That carpet had a bad smell, and the bathroom was awful. The furniture looked very old, and the small room had neither air conditioning nor a refrigerator.
