Marina Torre Navarrese Resort

Calling this a four-star resort feels like a joke. At most, I'd give it two stars. The rooms and restaurant look old, from the 2000s, and poorly maintained. Our room was very dated, with light coming around the edge of the wooden door and noise coming straight in from outside. The plugs didn't work, the light flickered, shower water ran across the bathroom, and the walls were so thin we could hear other guests talking and doing things. The towels smelled really bad. We only had breakfast. It was basic, tasteless, and the same every day, so staying several days would get tiring. Even though it was a lovely 25 degrees outside, we weren't allowed to eat outdoors. Staff also let guests put their room numbers on tables to reserve them for the whole stay. In the morning, many tables were held for at least three hours, for no reason. There is no official parking lot. You leave the car in the dirt outside in the dark and walk to the resort, while motorcyclists are allowed to park inside beside the rooms. It was a real pleasure hearing a loud motorcycle start up and leave at 6 AM. When I was there, a group of 40-50 motorcyclists had parked inside. They must have special status or something, since the rest of us had to park in the dirt. The website says the city tax is 4€ per night, but we were charged 5€. There's plenty more missing for a four-star resort.
