Al Tuscany Flat

We stayed from September 23-25, 2021. Google is only asking me for a review now! We arrived Friday at 10:30 pm and left Sunday at 9:30 am. The cost was €327.88. The apartment has convenient parking and is on Viale Castracani, outside the city walls, with Porta Elisa an easy walk away. It’s on the third floor, with no elevator. The apartment itself is renovated, beautiful, spacious, and bright, with lovely antique furniture. The bedrooms have large beds: one has a double, and the other has a double plus a queen-size single. In the living room, the big sofa and armchair can be made into a bed. The shared entrance is in terrible condition, dark, strongly musty smelling, and with stairs that feel dilapidated. The two bathrooms had brand-new, clean toilets, but were missing the little things that matter: a light by the mirror, a cosmetics shelf, and hooks for towels. The kitchen table is large and welcoming, though the dishes didn’t make us want to use them. Mr. Claudio and I communicated on WhatsApp. He left milk and yogurt in the fridge, a map on the table, and some tourist tips by text. But the Wi-Fi password wasn’t provided, so I had to ask, and by Sunday morning, before we’d even left, the Wi-Fi was no longer available. Some details just get overlooked.
