The secured parking was a real plus, especially since it's hard to find in Lucca. We were there for a week, and Anna made us feel welcome with her kindness.

The hosts were generous, friendly, and ready to help. The apartment itself is lovely, with attractive furnishings, everything we needed, plus a garden and terrace. It was peaceful, but still close enough to walk into Lucca's old town, and worked well as a base for seeing the area too.

We had paid for the reservation and had confirmation by email and in the Booking app, yet we weren't allowed to check in. About an hour before our stay, the accommodation was cancelled after a message I sent in good faith to the owners to say when we planned to arrive. We were on the road all day with two children in the car, and it was early evening, so suddenly having to find somewhere else was a really unpleasant situation. Communication was poor and they offered no help. Unfortunately, I definitely can't recommend it.

We'd happily come back. The apartment was spacious, lovely, and very clean, and the owner was kind but discreet. It's also perfectly placed for visiting Lucca's center.
