We had a really nice stay, one of our best vacations, and I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Lucca. Every restaurant and attraction was about a 10-15 minute walk away. The host couple were kind and helpful. They sorted out parking with us and gave advice on what to see and which guided tour to take. Our charming room had old wooden ceiling beams, a double bed with a good mattress and double duvet, and a bathroom with everything we needed. There was also a minibar with water, soda and beer. Breakfast had local cakes and other standard items, and they made cappuccinos too. The garden looked lovely, but it was too cold to eat breakfast outside during the first week of May.

The garden breakfast was the best part. People were super friendly, and the location inside the city wall was okay. The street itself is dull, but the lively areas are only five minutes away. Just be aware there’s a 10 eur surcharge if you check in after 7 pm.

Breakfast in the lovely garden was superb, and the restaurant suggestions were great. A fantastic stay in Lucca!

A really nice B&B.

The owners, Antonella (tour guide) and Alessio (sommelier), were always kind and welcoming without ever being intrusive. Talking with them and learning about local history, art and food added a lot to our short trip. We spent three wonderful nights at the B&B, ideally located within Lucca's walls. The city’s distinctive character fascinated us. Highly recommended!
