The apartment was freezing when we arrived. The kitchen only has three stools for five guests, and the coffee maker is a moka pot. The shower tray has black crusty buildup, and using the kitchen hood is a bad idea because you get stuck there. Cleaning is a whole other issue.

We had four very relaxing days in this lovely apartment, tucked away in a quiet valley. It has balconies and is only a few kilometers from the sea, Pisa, and Lucca.

There’s plenty of light and space in this apartment, and it can sleep up to five people. You also get a parking spot right by the house. The downside is the summer heat. The place warms up extremely fast, and it's hard to cope with it. Mosquitoes mean you can't keep the windows open overnight, so you often wake up sweating.

The owner was courteous and helpful, which added to the peaceful feel of the stay. The apartment is bright, spacious, very clean, and comfortable. There’s free parking and a view of the castle. A great choice for a quiet, relaxing visit.

We took the whole house for a day. It was clean, and the owners were really friendly and nice. We'd gladly stay there again.
