I’m sharing a bad experience with the property’s management. I booked two nights, December 31st and January 1st, through Booking.com using a non-refundable option. My daughter developed a very high fever on the night of the 30th, so I canceled right away. In the morning, I contacted management. They said a refund wasn’t possible, and I suggested reversing the cancellation since I planned to invite my parents to Lucca for New Year’s Eve. They refused, saying other guests had already occupied the apartment and there was no refund or other option. I’ve never dealt with anything like this. On top of it, the property manager was rude and vulgar. They kept my €400 and still had the apartment occupied. It feels like pure speculation. Don’t trust them. Stay away.

The apartment is in a recently built condominium with an elevator, in a quiet area near Lucca’s historic center. It was clean and well maintained. We had a pleasant stay in a quaint city that’s definitely worth visiting.
