The room was the weak point for me. There was a strong mould smell, and my first-floor room faced the street, where lights shone directly onto the bed. Dogs barked through the night, and I could hear every movement in the room above. The house was generally clean and the kitchen was good. The area is nice if you like a bit of walking and want great cafés and shops outside the tourist centre.

We drove in from the north, so arrival by car was very easy, and the centre was an easy walk away. The staff were laid-back and really kind. We got the room details over WhatsApp and entered without needing to meet anyone. There’s a large kitchen, plenty of shaded outdoor space and parking right in front of the gate. We shared a bathroom, which was fine for us. It had a large shower that worked for two people, and the bathroom itself was spacious enough for twelve. The mirrors in there were GREAT.

The room was large, clean, quiet, and comfortable, and we slept well. It wasn’t expensive. There was no staff on site or breakfast, so we let ourselves in and out using a code. Parking was on a back street, and the bathroom was shared across the corridor. No TV.

It really felt like being at home. Our balcony room was bright and airy, with plenty of space, and the bed was large and comfortable.

The place felt really cozy, with a nice kitchen and a shared area. It’s about 20 minutes from the center.
