The hosts were very helpful, and the place was clean and tidy. They even left a bottle of wine and some water. It’s on the first floor, but getting there was easy, and it’s not far from the railway station through the wall. The lovely old building has modern conveniences, including a microwave, a good fridge, and all the cooking utensils. Very happy to recommend it.

The bed and linen were the best we had over our two-and-a-half weeks in Italy. I loved the little kitchenette and the practical equipment. Shops, restaurants, and attractions are very close, and the place is easy to get to. It was just the comfortable little stop we needed on our travels. Highly recommend.

My flight was cancelled, so I ended up extending my stay here by two days. Massimo and Eugenia were fantastic, and Massimo quickly answered my questions on WhatsApp and was very helpful with information. The apartment is on the first floor in Lucca’s historic center, with no problem carrying heavy luggage. The small kitchen was comfortable and had tea, coffee, a bottle of wine, olive oil, spices, and water.

I stayed for a month and had everything I needed to live comfortably, including kitchen facilities, a bathroom, Wi-Fi, and a large, comfortable bed. The place didn’t feel cramped. Massimo’s apartment is lovely, right in town but still quiet. It’s an easy walk anywhere in the old town, and for me it was also important that the train station was only about 10-15 minutes away. I used it often for short trips to other places. Easy to recommend.
