Cecilia was excellent to communicate with, always reachable and quick to reply, and she shared lots of useful information about the area. We felt very comfortable and would gladly recommend the place. The buildings have the feel of an old Italian country estate, with several holiday apartments in the annex. Ours was a spacious, rustic but practical first-floor apartment with everything we needed: a kitchenette with a gas stove, refrigerator and microwave, plus air conditioning, Wi-Fi and a TV. Two large balconies looked out over the lush garden. There’s plenty of parking on the property, and we had no trouble parking our van. It’s on the outskirts of Lucca, about a 30-minute walk from the center, though the Italian streets don’t have sidewalks like we’re used to in Germany. Lucca’s medieval center, with its walls and narrow streets, is a must-see. The beach is around a 30-40 minute drive along the highway. The downsides were no washing machine and shower water that changed temperature because the water heater was weak.

The houses are lovely inside and furnished with what you need, including a coffee maker and towels. Staff know the area well and are very helpful. There are barbecues to use, plus a couple of tables, and nearly every house has a fairly large balcony with chairs or sofas and a table.

The people here are incredibly kind and hospitable, and they gave our four-legged friends a warm welcome too. The rooms were clean and welcoming, and the garden is beautiful. We’ll definitely come back 🥰

Cecilia was friendly, helpful, and always there when we needed her. She shared great tips. The apartment worked well for two adults and three children, and the house is in a good location with several apartments and balconies. We had free parking right out front and a large garden with fruit and palm trees. The apartment had a washing machine and hairdryer, so there was no need to bring much clothing. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong, but it was enough to sleep comfortably. Hand and bath towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, and mosquito repellent were all provided, unlike at other places where we’ve had to bring those ourselves. There was also a vacuum cleaner, iron, and ironing board.

The management was attentive and very friendly. It’s a convenient base for exploring the surrounding area, and the accommodations have everything down to the smallest detail. A lovely, well-kept place with a charming garden.
