Palazzo Alexander Hotel

The breakfast was lovely, with cereal, yogurt, fruit, and especially delicious baked apples alongside the buffet. The gentleman serving breakfast and in the evening was so sweet and kind to us, though I’m sorry I didn’t ask his name. Mario speaks perfect English, and he and the rest of the staff made us feel like family while staying professional. The location is great. Our room was nicely furnished and up to date, with a USB port by the bed, a good size, and a comfortable bed. The elevator was very efficient. I highly recommend it.

We’d love to come back to Hotel Palazzo Alexander one day. It’s on a quiet street near everything we wanted to see and do in Lucca, and the price felt fair for the stay. The service was wonderful, and everyone was kind. At check-in, the receptionist came up to the room with us and explained everything. Breakfast was delicious, and the firm bed was comfortable. It also had the best shower we’ve experienced in Europe so far. Grazie mille Hotel Palazzo Alexander!

After days of walking around the city, returning to a beautiful, comfortable, and immaculately kept room was a real pleasure. Comfort and accessibility mattered to us, and the hotel did well on both. Being inside Lucca’s old city made it easy to reach the historic streets, shops, and dinner spots. The staff welcomed us from the moment we arrived, and their restaurant and activity suggestions were consistently right on target. Every meal and outing they recommended became a trip highlight, which made exploring Lucca easy and fun. The city charmed us, and Hotel Palazzo Alexander was a big part of that. We can’t wait to return and hope to stay at the Alexander again. Five stars without hesitation.

Breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, bacon, cappuccino, and assorted breads on both mornings. The location was super quiet, and the staff were welcoming and kind. Our room was sufficient, with a nice bed and shower, plus a coffee maker. I asked for another pillow and they brought one right up. It was a very nice pillow, I just needed an extra. No complaints, definitely recommend.
