Palazzo Tucci Apartments

Palazzo Tucci made us feel like royalty. The room was pretty and spacious, breakfast was really good, and the hotel itself is beautiful with excellent staff. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in Lucca, and would recommend it to friends and family. 10/10.

During my three week trip around Europe, this was the best place I stayed. Palazzo really does mean palace here. My room was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious in a room so stunning I gasped when I saw it. The staff were kind and courteous. A special thanks to Sandro from the Tucci family for welcoming me and checking me in. He marked the places I wanted to visit on a map, showed me the routes to take, and suggested other interesting sights along the way.

Our accommodation was a real highlight, with painted ceilings, marble and beautiful flooring throughout the ornate palazzo. It's ideally placed in the middle of Lucca's old walled town, and bus 3+ from the station drops you right outside. The place has a fairytale atmosphere, and Lucca itself is a marvel. Friendly host and a great breakfast. I'd recommend it to anyone after a high standard, exclusive residence in the city.

You can walk to all the attractions from this place inside the city walls. There are only a few rooms in the lovely old Palazzo, while the owner still lives on the ground floor. The rooms are big and nice, and the breakfast room, with high ceilings and baroque paintings, is something special. It didn't feel posh, more welcoming and family-style. I'd definitely recommend it.
