Getting here on foot from the train station with rolling bags was manageable, which made the location a big draw for us. The apartment overlooks a gelateria and gives you quick access to Lucca's main sights. It was clean, cute, and set up well for a short visit, so we'd gladly recommend Suite Sofia. We also shared a self-guided walking tour and other Lucca suggestions on our blog. Search for "Intentional Travelers Lucca guide" to find them.

A cozy, cool little apartment right in central Lucca. The only thing that bothered me was the shower, which was very small and a bit uncomfortable to use.

We felt at home here in Lucca. Massimiliano was friendly and a great host, and gave us useful restaurant tips. There was parking readily available on the surrounding streets. The shower is on the small side, though manageable, and the place itself was very comfortable.

We spent two days here in February. The studio was charming, had everything the owner described, and sits inside Lucca's walls, close to the main sights. Restaurants, pastry shops, bars, and a theater are nearby, and getting here from the train station is easy. Check-in was simple and fully self-service. The owner also helped with directions to places to eat and visit. The bathroom is so small that using the toilet was difficult. It was humid in the studio, and we struggled to warm it up on the day we arrived. Thanks to Massimiliano for helping us.
