Those extra pillows made the comfy beds even better, and the shower had just-right water pressure. We spent a week and a half here, right among all the history in Lucca, and the location was ideal. Matteo was friendly, really nice, and always helpful.

The city-center location was fantastic, and the air conditioning worked well. I slept a lot in the comfortable bed in room 1, with a cool view from the window. The cleaning was good and didn't waste supplies. Matteo, the new owner, made me feel welcome. The refrigerator was broken and the shower temperature kept changing, though neither bothered me much.

Really liked this place. In my opinion, it’s the best spot in Lucca. The staff are so nice, and I can’t wait to come back.

My green room had a queen bed and a twin, with room for up to three people. Its large private bathroom was across the hall, though some rooms have bathrooms inside. Breakfast came as a voucher for coffee and a pastry at Pasticceria Buralli, just around the corner. The place is charming, inside the city walls and near plenty of restaurants, cafes, and piazzas. For the price and location, it’s hard to beat. I had a great stay and would book here again next time I’m in Lucca.
