The hosts were warm and really helpful, with good local tips. We even got to join the pasta-making class they ran during our stay, which was so much fun. Tenuta San Giovanni was a great base for visits to Lucca, the beach, and the mountains. Our apartment was clean and roomy for the four of us, and the pool was a favorite. We had a wonderful family holiday and would gladly recommend it. Thanks for the memories!

Our arrival was delayed by a national strike, and we had informed him in advance. Even so, he didn't honor our reservation. We were left out on the street at midnight without any solution. The treatment felt deeply inhumane.

Andrea and his family made us feel very welcome, and they were always offering a nice espresso in the morning. We spent eight days there in June 2023, enjoying the pool and sunshine. In the Lucca countryside, the place was beautiful and peaceful. Our apartment was exceptionally clean and spacious, with everything we could want. I'd recommend Villa San Giovanni to anyone after a relaxing holiday near the centre of Lucca.

The views were stunning, with crickets all around us. We stayed at Villa Belvedere, a real hidden gem, and it's hard to put the experience into words. Andrea and family were such pleasant, friendly hosts. Thanks for being so welcoming.

I paid for a stay in the centre, but he tried to put me somewhere outside the city instead. My wife and I were left on the street at midnight in zero-degree weather. Andrea, you're disgraceful and shameless. SCAMMER!!!!!
