Monica (Mony) was a wonderfully attentive host. We booked Villa la Tuia at short notice, and found the rooms very clean and the location perfect.

Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were lovely. Monica and Manuela were wonderful hosts, and the spot just outside the walls made it easy to get everywhere.

The bright, neat interior and breakfast served on the room’s balcony were lovely touches. There’s secure parking on the premises, too. With its classic villa feel just outside the old city walls, plus excellent, friendly service, this is a place I’d highly recommend.

We’ve stayed at several lovely places in Lucca, but this one beat them all. The garden breakfast was beautiful, the rooms were great, and Monica and Manuela made us feel very welcome. Service was top notch, and it’s only a five minute walk to get inside the walled city. Best place to stay in Lucca.

We can’t wait to come back. Monica and Manuella looked after every detail, and the delicious breakfast, safe convenient parking, and comfortable beds made getting around easy. Our room was beautifully appointed and very clean. Just outside Lucca’s old city walls, the place combines elegance and comfort with warm, lovely hostesses. Grazie mille!
