The staff at Palace Lucera gave me the best service I've ever had. They clearly make it a priority to improve their service each day, and I'd gladly visit again. The pool was beautiful and extremely well maintained; breakfast was delicious, full of options, and prepared with real attention to detail. The spa was so comfortable and relaxing that we ended up falling asleep afterward. It's a magical place, though it seems they're in a position to remodel gradually and could use good support. A couple of things for the owners: they're working on making all the locks safer and more secure, and perhaps could switch to card locks when the time is right. The staff and service really deserve kudos.

We were here for two nights on a work trip, and it was nothing like the website. The floors, bathroom, shower, and other areas were dirty. There were filthy carpets, mold in the shower, and clumps of hair on the carpet. Truly disgusting. I can't understand how they call this a four-star hotel. It isn't even close.

The reception staff were very nice and helpful, and the rooms were nice for a four-star hotel. But dinner and breakfast didn't meet the standard, with breakfast especially limited. It was also really disappointing to be told they had run out of still bottled water during dinner. Management needs to address how the people responsible for catering are organizing food and drink for the hotel.
