Such a wonderful place.

The property itself is nice, but it felt completely neglected, with no care for guests. It was dirty, with bugs everywhere inside and out, and the beds were small camp beds. There was no welcome message or Wi-Fi access information, despite my having written since 2021. Cobwebs were all over, and the support beams were moth-eaten or broken, patched up with sloppy fixes. I didn't check every bathroom, but ours wouldn't lock. The toilet kept leaking, and the shower glass wouldn't slide shut. When it finally did, it fell on you. For a two-night stay in a room for three, they provided just one roll of toilet paper. Eating outside meant repeatedly getting hit by the smell of sewer. The pool was muddy, and the shower next to it, though convenient, didn't work. We were told maintenance would happen early or at an agreed time so our group could have privacy, but that didn't happen. The pool maintenance man was cleaning it at 11:00 AM on a Saturday in August, right when everyone wanted to swim. The price was exorbitant and completely out of proportion. I won't return.

A real nightmare. The photos are far too optimistic. It's a big 20th-century house split into several apartments, with rooms divided by curtains and no privacy at all. There's no air conditioning or even a fan, so the heat is unbearable. Flies and mosquitoes were also invading the place, making it impossible to sleep. The ornaments had at least four inches of dust on them, and the broken shower had been patched with scotch tape. The garden could have been lovely, but it was dry and completely abandoned, covered in horse poop, with dogs and goats roaming freely. The price was exorbitant. We had to ask for a receipt and got a piece of paper without a VAT number. That seemed strange to me, though I'm no expert. Airbnb seems to have already changed its name.

The only good thing was the location. The house was very dusty, the furniture felt unsafe, so be careful what you touch, and it was very expensive. The power kept cutting out because it has a generator. Since the place is isolated, it may work well for parties, but I can't credit the managers with anything good. I don't think I'll ever return, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I care about.
