A car is essential for getting around, though the highway links make trips to Pisa, Florence, and other places easy. Sarzana is close by too, with a station that connects directly to Cinque Terre. The beach is 2 km away, an easy walk along a path beside the road, and there are basil fields nearby. Across the street there’s a bar with good burgers and beer, while a small supermarket a few metres away has the basics and some excellent mortadella. The complex itself is well equipped, with a pool and loungers, parking, tables, tennis and soccer courts, and a small gym that seems practically brand new. There’s also a bar and a restaurant serving fantastic pizza. The staff were friendly and attentive, and communication was easy. The rooms are basic and could use updates, especially the kitchen, sofas, and bathroom. The apartments don’t have washing machines, but there’s a communal laundry area. We had a great time. I’d recommend it at a good price if you want a mix of relaxation and cultural sightseeing.

The apartments aren’t new, but they’re practical and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s about 500 metres to the nearest beach, and there’s a Conad supermarket, pharmacy, and other shops nearby. The facility is well organized, with reception, a bar and restaurant, coin-operated laundry, a play area, and an outdoor pool.
