Sole e Terra

The pool was lovely, and the agriturismo made a very welcoming base for trips to La Maddalena and other nearby places. The hosts were friendly, cooked delicious food, and shared excellent tips about the region. We had a wonderful stay in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

We loved the infinity pool, and the fresh vegetables from the hotel garden were prepared with care and tasted great. Rena Majore, Santa Teresa, Protobello, and Palau are all easy to reach, though I’d recommend renting a car to explore the area. The hotel sits among Sardinia’s rolling hills, with rosemary, thyme, and other fragrant herbs all around. It’s a peaceful place for nature lovers, starry nights, traditional Sardinian food, and warm hospitality. Koschti and Cornelia made us feel at home, and Cornelia’s homemade treats from her own garden catered to every palate. The two sweet cats, Milo and Pilo, stole our hearts. Our stay at Sole Terra was relaxing and memorable, and we’d love to come back 😊✌️

A quiet, relaxing spot, with a clean pool in a spectacular setting. The rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast felt authentic, especially the excellent homemade cakes. It’s a shame the rooms aren’t cleaned and the beds aren’t made every day.

The view from Baialana Castle is really impressive. Getting up there means an easy walk, but it’s not one for flip-flops: there are granite steps and a 100-meter climb.
