Rosental

For me, the best location in the world.

We had a very nice four-night stay and would gladly come again. The staff were lovely, and the restaurant was very good, with very friendly service. Breakfast had lots of choice and was very good. Our room was clean and a good size. The wellness area was always clean too, though a few more loungers would be welcome.

This family-run hotel was a lovely surprise, and everything was well maintained. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was spectacular, with a sweet and savory buffet, and there's a restaurant on site serving excellent pizza and delicious local food. Portions were generous and service was excellent. The hot tub and sauna are included at no charge. Bressanone is about a 15-minute drive away, so you can head there in the evening too. I highly recommend it.

The bus stop is only a few steps away, with easy rides to the Plose cable car and Bressanone train station. That was one reason we picked the hotel, since we wanted to be near Bressanone. I’d first visited Luson with my parents ten years ago. Our room was roomy and spotless, all wood with lovely finishes and a cozy stube. We were lucky to have a view over the town center. The spa and hot tub were clean too. Breakfast had plenty of savory choices, though the sweet options felt a bit basic. Dinner was very good, with traditional dishes and a choice of two courses from four options each night. Drinks cost extra, and €4.50 for a one-liter bottle felt pricey. Staff were courteous and helpful.
