Appartamento Camillo

The rooms are nice, but that didn't make up for a night of poor sleep. Kitchen noise woke us at 2:30 in the morning, then construction started right on time at 7:00. Getting a good night's rest is the point of staying somewhere, so I wouldn't return. Also, if there's no parking in front of the house, finding your way around could be difficult if you don't know the area.

There’s no elevator, and the rooms are spread across several floors reached only by stairs. Apart from that, the apartment is spacious, well appointed, and spotlessly clean. It looks out over Corso Cavour, with a beautiful view of the War Memorial. You can easily get around on foot, with the bus terminal, the Gardens, and the historic center just steps away. The host is friendly, and breakfast is included, with plenty of options in the shared kitchen.

Everything else was fine. My only complaint is that guests should be told the room is on the fourth floor, with a very narrow spiral staircase for the last flight. Getting up there with luggage is really uncomfortable.

Carlo is friendly, helpful, and welcoming. You can use the kitchen if you arrange it with him ahead of time, and Wi-Fi is always available. The apartment itself is new, clean, comfortable, and inviting, with all the amenities. Its central location makes it easy to reach on foot or by public transport, and shops and city services are nearby. I had a wonderful stay, and it was excellent value for money. Highly recommend it!
