Dimora Rosa Bianca is just a 20-minute walk from Macerata's old town, with a spacious, cozy garden where breakfast comes with a view over open fields and the historic city beyond. We had a magically pleasant stay, from the messages before our trip to the warm welcome when we arrived. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home: they had homemade pastry ready because we were arriving late, offered us a lift into town, and chatted with us about the region, family, flea markets, gluten-free pizza, opera, and real estate. The late 18th-century villa is a beautiful family home, very Tuscany-esque, renovated and modernized in recent years while keeping many authentic vintage touches. Marche is a gorgeous, still underdiscovered part of Italy, with wineries, a lively cultural scene including the famous Macerata Opera Festival, historic sites, beautiful beaches, hiking trails, and warm, welcoming people. Wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who enjoys slow tourism, slow living, and slow travel.

We came to Rosa Bianca for a romantic getaway, and the house was enchanting. Annalisa was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent. Everything was exceptional!

Our room was spacious, very quiet, authentically furnished, and had a large balcony. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and generous. We also loved the warm welcome, the view of Macerata, their restaurant tips, the peaceful setting, and the excellent breakfast. The villa itself is wonderful, an old place with charming signs of wear, furnished with taste and care. It sits in a well-kept garden.
