The room was welcoming, quiet, and very clean, and the price felt fair. We wanted somewhere central, and this was just a short walk from the Sferisterio stadium, bus lines, and Macerata train station. The owner was helpful and gave us plenty of information. We had a positive stay and I’d recommend it.

We had a great stay. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to thank the owner, I think, for letting us arrive at 3 a.m.

The bathroom was clean, and the host shared a few suggestions for nearby places. Still, the stay was disappointing. Check-in had to happen before 6 PM, the bed was only almost comfortable, and the soundproofing was poor. We could hear street conversations and the other guests in the three bedrooms. The decor was hard to make sense of, and the kitchen felt uninviting and smelled like stale tobacco.

Everything was clean and there were services nearby, with the historic center just a short walk away. Simone, the owner, was especially attentive, kind, and thoughtful, which made the place feel distinctive.

You can see everything in those two photos. If abstract art isn’t your thing, you may want to keep looking.
