I booked through Expedia a year ahead and, three months before the trip, realized I’d chosen a hotel four hours from where I’m actually traveling. That was my mistake. I’d bought Expedia trip insurance so I could cancel and get a refund if something came up. Expedia contacted the hotel, but they wouldn’t refund me, so I called this morning to explain. The woman who answered was hateful and nasty. She kept talking over me, interrupted constantly, and wouldn’t even let me explain what had happened. I understand the mistake was mine, and I was honestly going to see if I could still make the trip because the hotel looks beautiful. But now I’ll have to eat the money I paid. They don’t refund bookings made through other sites, I get that, but the way she spoke to me was among the rudest phone conversations I’ve ever had. There was no care at all. I’m so disappointed. This was the hotel I’d been most excited about, and I’m disgusted by her phone etiquette. If good customer service matters to you, I’d stay away.

Daniela was probably the friendliest and most helpful proprietress we’ve met in all our travels. We can’t say enough good things about her or Dream Hotel. My husband and I had a wonderful one-night stay while completing the Tour du Monte Rosa. We arrived at 1pm and were pleasantly surprised that our room was ready. It was clean, cozy, and just what we needed after hiking from Saas Fee.

They admitted there’d been a mistake with the online price, but after accepting our booking and money, they wouldn’t honor it unless we paid an extra €100 for one night. They made no effort to find a solution. This is terrible behavior, and it’s illegal. Avoid this property at all costs. They clearly don’t understand customer service or taking responsibility for an obvious mistake. Disgusting. 😒

Everything was managed with clear passion, and the cleanliness was impeccable in the room, spa, and common areas. Breakfast was thoughtfully arranged, with a varied choice of quality sweet and savory food. My stay was short, but long enough to appreciate the hotel and its management. I also got excellent help and advice with all my requests. I’ll return next time without hesitation.

We felt at home and looked after the whole time. The owners were especially kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and familiar. The spa was fantastic, a real place to relax and unwind. Everything else was impeccable too, from the welcome to the cleanliness. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with fresh, high-quality products that made a great start to the day. A heartfelt thank you for a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely come back and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality stay. A+!
