The food fell below what I'd expect from a four-star hotel, and the reception experience made the disappointment worse. The woman at reception was unfriendly and never told us about the animation team or Santa Claus. Had we known Santa would be there, we could have asked him to deliver gifts and taken a photo with him at dinner to wish us a Merry Christmas. That was a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make the kids happy, and we missed it. We weren't even told there were animators at the hotel. At first, the Tartaruga Animazione team had a lovely effect on our shy children. The snow activities helped them open up and make friends. They had a blast playing and even built a little snowman, Olaf. But after the evening with Santa Claus, the animators they'd met disappeared. On Christmas Day there were no animators from the team they'd come to know, only new people they'd never met. That's unacceptable. I'm extremely disappointed and angry about our stay. Two stars is already too generous.

The lovely natural setting and the complex itself were wonderful to see. I visited with a group of business friends and we had a great time, with reception at the highest level. Thanks to Maria, the receptionist, Abby at the reception, and Tina, the head nurse. I'll be back next year with another group of friends.

The location was good, but the service was frustrating. Our rooms were missed during cleaning twice, and even when we stressed the problem, nothing was done. The food was poor, the waiters' service was poor too, and I found the attendants' rudeness disconcerting.

A lovely place for a ski break. The food was good, the lifts were a short walk away, and the drive from Milan was reasonable.
