The views are a big part of the charm here. Each morning, the sun comes up over the mountain peaks, and the lodge has a lovely riverside walking trail right outside. The town center and ski lifts are only a few minutes away on foot, and when the snow allows, you can ski straight from the property to the lifts. The Baita apartments are roomy, spotless, and comfortable, with classic Alpine furnishings. Veronica and Moreno have welcomed us like family every winter for 25 years. They're always attentive and available, and their kindness is a real part of what makes the place special. It's a wonderful spot for both relaxing and enjoying the outdoors.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, and the neighborhood was peaceful. We could walk to the center in just a few minutes. The owner was so kind and helpful that we already feel like coming back. My husband and I had a really positive stay at the Gran Baita, and we'd recommend it to anyone visiting Madesimo.

The riverside walk gets you to the village in about five minutes, and the whole place feels wonderfully green and peaceful. We stayed for a week, and Mrs. Veronica was lovely, ready to help with anything we needed. The residence was welcoming, and the apartments were clean and sanitized. It felt like paradise. I'd happily recommend it and hope to return soon.

It's in a peaceful spot, but still close to the town center and ski slopes. The apartments have all the essentials, plus free Wi-Fi and satellite TV with Sky.
