Casale San Pietro

It was a lovely place to spend a few days enjoying the accommodation. We had fun reading and playing games by the open fire, or sitting on the porch with the beautiful view. The group dinners arranged by the hosts were wonderful if you can afford them, and a nice way to swap stories over a meal. The hosts and staff were great, and we loved the two cats and beautiful dog. We had a car, though you can hire the hotel’s car for a day, which is handy. We didn’t enjoy the nearby towns as much as those in Tuscany, and the weather wasn’t good, so we couldn’t make much use of the pool and other facilities. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Joe and Alana gave us thoughtful recommendations for days exploring the region and for nights when we ate out, taking our tastes into account. We also spent wonderful days by the pool and enjoying treatments. Most nights we ate at Casale, where the meals were gorgeous and the wines very good and reasonably priced. We met kindred spirits and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. We loved the Casale, our room and balcony, the pool, grounds, views, and treatments. Joe and Alana made us feel relaxed and special from the moment we arrived until we left. What a fantastic holiday.

The location feels rural, but Rome is only 45 minutes away. There’s plenty to do on site, including the lovely pool, treatments, and fun games. Ask Joe to show you the Greatest Game in the World. Elena and Joe made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, with such a relaxed atmosphere. The local, regional food was really delicious.

Casale San Pietro was a wonderful place to stay, and I feel lucky to have been there ♥️ The rooms and common areas were cozy, with an extra comfortable bed, and the place is stylish. The pool area has comfortable daybeds, and the food was delicious. But what makes it special is Alana and Joe. Alana made me feel at home with such a warm welcome.
