Tiziano Hotel

The service was great, and breakfast was OK, with good coffee but a limited selection of food. For example, melon was the only fruit. The rooms aren’t very modern, but they’re worth the price. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the centre, and it’s not the prettiest route. Still, the price I paid was definitely worth it, especially with free parking.

Giuseppe and his staff are amazing, and Trapani is a super cute city. The breakfast is simple, but the guy making espressos is one of a kind. Tiziano might be a little far from the cute city centre, but the walk is peaceful day and night. Come on, it’s good to walk after eating that great Trapanean feast and watching the sunset on the walls by the shore.

Basic and disappointing. This isn’t a 4-star hotel, and there’s no lounge or bar despite what’s advertised. The mini bar had two small bottles of water at €2 and nothing else. The rooms were basic, and I’ve stayed in better 2-star hotels. There was no harbour view, just a boat yard. The city view looked out over a bus depot and run-down buildings. It’s miles away from everything, including restaurants.

The hotel is modern and nice inside. We had what they called a suite, and it was alright. Its location is terrible, by a shipyard and 30/45 mins on foot from downtown. The staff were curt, almost unfriendly. Free parking was the only real positive. Can’t recommend it.
