Breakfast was better than I'd expected, with a decent range and good quality. The hotel's location right in front of the ski slopes is excellent, but the rooms and carpets badly need renovation. We arrived around 5pm to check in and found the stair carpet extremely dirty. Three staff members were vacuuming the hallway carpet on our floor, and there was a strong smell of sweat. Our room was a little small but manageable, though we spotted mold on the ceiling. The manager moved us to another room right away when we asked for a change or upgrade. That room had no mold, thankfully, but was so tiny it felt cramped. Overall, the stay was very disappointing, and the room quality was far below what I'd expect.

The waiters were kind, funny, and provided lovely service. The hotel is right by the ski slopes, and the rooms were fairly clean, though the layout was odd but usable. There was plenty of food to choose from, but some dishes were better than others. Since it was a set meal, I found the food a bit disappointing overall. Still, it was a great place to stay.

The food was nice, the view was beautiful, and the hotel wasn't far from the ski slopes, which was great. The rooms, though, were so cramped that it was hard to fit two suitcases, let alone two people. One bathroom was just a tiny square with a shower and toilet, plus a minuscule sink. I strongly advise against staying here because I believe the cleaners stole money. Several people had items hidden or stolen while they were out skiing. My iPod was stolen, and I had to hide my phone in case that was taken too. The waiters could also be condescending and rude.

The room was meant for four, but two people seemed like the maximum. Once we opened our suitcases, there was no room to move or breathe. A black patch of mold was growing over the ancient bunk bed, which smelled horrible. The bed itself was completely brown and dirty, so we put towels near our pillows to avoid touching it. We didn't get the heating working until our fourth night and had to sleep in jackets. Another couple had to change rooms because stains on their sheets bothered them. The elevator only fit two people with their suitcases and stopped at the third floor, leaving the fourth floor without access. The family we traveled with had problems too. Their bathroom had no light, so their children had to shower and brush their teeth by flashlight. The food was disgusting, either undercooked, stale, salty, or overcooked, and very expensive. We relied on a supermarket for bars or fruit the hotel didn't provide. The staff didn't seem willing to help. When we asked for something, they showed how inconvenient it was and made the atmosphere uncomfortable. This is just a short account of our appalling stay at a place that shouldn't be operating. The so-called hotel doesn't deserve a single star, and this should be a warning never to even consider staying at arleccino. Maria Pastella

The position is the best thing about it, right in front of the slopes, and the staff are very polite and friendly. The place is very old and should be renovated. The kids club should pay more attention to things like music for the kids and staff staying on their phones. Luca is the best, very careful with the kids, available, and knows how to keep them entertained.
