Bed&Breakfast 1959

I love coming back here when I travel. The garden is fabulous, and all you hear in the morning is birdsong. The owner is incredibly sweet, makes you feel at ease, and is happy to help with guests’ requests. It’s a place that brings me serenity 😍

There’s plenty for guests to use, including the kitchen, a living room with a TV, and Wi-Fi. The rooms are spacious and clean, and breakfast is generous. The villa is charming, with a lovely garden that’s perfect for breakfast. The owner is truly lovely and helpful, always ready to accommodate her guests’ needs.

The price was low, €60 for three, but I still would have chosen the floor over those beds. Every move made the spring mattresses creak, and they were so uncomfortable that sleeping was impossible. The room itself was very large, though the bathroom was shared. Outside, there was plenty of green space, but the mosquitoes made it unusable. The decor felt awful, with family photos in the room and fake flowers inside and in the garden. Breakfast was just as disappointing: yesterday's croissants and pastries, with only one homemade cake that was decent. We stayed one night, and that was enough.

The garden is large, green, and very well looked after, and there's a swimming pool. It's a quiet spot away from the bustle, with clean rooms and a kind Mrs. Rossana. It also works well for children.
