Hotel Cristiania

The price and quality felt like a good match. The pillows and mattresses were very good, and breakfast had plenty, including freshly pressed orange and carrot juice. Staff were attentive and helpful. Each room has its own private ski room box for boots, skis, and snowboards, though the room itself is narrow and gets cramped when several groups are there. My friends' door battery died, so they couldn't get into their room, but the hotel fixed it within an hour. There are some drawbacks. Even the renovated rooms aren't well insulated, and the doors have no soft closers, so you can hear people talking through walls and doors slamming. The hotel requires you to leave your car keys at reception. I found that very strange and still don't understand why they'd need to move my car if it's parked in the first line or in a corner. I can see why people parked on a second line or blocking someone should leave their keys, but not everyone. The wellness area isn't large, and you have to reserve it and pay 10 Euros per person. I have mixed feelings about that. Charging may keep it from getting overcrowded, but I think a sauna in a ski area hotel should be free.

The location was perfect, close to the Pradalago cable car and the city center. We spent a lovely week in February 2026 at the Cristiania Hotel, staying in a fully equipped, clean family apartment without accompanying services. We could use the wellness area for a fee. The staff were especially helpful when my daughter got lost on the ski slope.

The location is great, and the hotel itself is nice. But I found the kitchen pots, bowls, and plates a bit dirty. The kettle had turned yellow, and there were stains on the spoon and fork. I also spotted a few little spiders and leftover webs in a corner of the room.

The service was professional, and they were flexible with customers. We'd highly recommend it.
