Dirindello House Trasimeno

The owner was kind and quick to help, taking care of everything we needed. We stayed at "Dirindello House Trasimeno" from November 2nd to 5th, in the "Isola Polvese" apartment. It was clean, welcoming, and nicely kept, with plenty of room: a living area and kitchenette, a queen-size sofa bed, an upstairs double bedroom with a closet, and a spacious bathroom. It’s pet-friendly too, which we appreciated. We’ll be back soon!

The garden was a real highlight: spacious, beautifully kept, and fully available to guests, with a sun lounger area, parking, two outdoor dining tables, and a fantastic BBQ. It’s completely fenced, which was a big plus for us and our dog. The owner was kind, friendly, and courteous. The apartment doesn’t overlook the lake, but it’s well located and charmingly furnished. The ground floor has a kitchenette, dining space, and sofa bed; upstairs there’s a double bedroom and bathroom. Every bit of space is put to good use. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

The house itself is beautiful and clean, but the amenities fell short: there’s no Wi-Fi and, more seriously, no card payment. Heavy crimson curtains shut out both air and light, making the place feel far too claustrophobic. The owner’s poorly concealed intrusiveness was another problem, as she rudely tried to question us about our private lifestyles. Good manners and discretion matter in this line of work. This could have been a five-star stay, but I can only give it two.

The owners are helpful and friendly, and they welcome our four-legged companions at no extra charge. It’s a small, cozy home with all the comforts, just right for two. Recommended.
