Park Hotel Sabina

The bed was so uncomfortable that I woke up with backache 😩. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, and the staff are great, but the bedroom walls are incredibly thin. I could hear the people next door coughing and talking extremely clearly. Really annoying. The restaurant next door, which isn’t part of the hotel, serves nice food. I was the only diner there on a Tuesday evening, which felt weird and also showed how remote the hotel and restaurant are. It’s a good stop if you’re travelling from or to somewhere.

It’s an easy place to reach near the highway, so Park Hotel Sabina could work for a one night stop. Our room was small, the bed had normal comfort, and they don’t provide slippers. We paid 95€ for two people with breakfast included, which felt a little high. I think 70-75€ per night would be right. I can’t comment on the breakfast itself, because by 9:30 the kitchen was closed and they couldn’t offer even a croissant 🥐. There’s nothing near the hotel, so you have to head out for breakfast at 7 AM 😰. It’s a four star hotel, but I’d give it three. The rooms need some renewal, the shower could be cleaned better, and breakfast hours should be more flexible. There’s no hotel restaurant for dinner, but there is a nearby place where you can get tasty meat 🥩.

The hotel is very nice, with elegant rooms that are shiny clean, and free pay TV is a plus. It’s a little isolated, so I’d find it convenient for breaking up a long north-south trip because it’s close to the highway, but less so for a tourist. I’m very satisfied.

I was just passing through for one night. The lobby and rooms have modern decor, and it’s a decent hotel, handy for people travelling on the A1. It could also be nice to stay longer and visit the park and nearby places.
