We loved having the balcony to relax on in the evenings. The room at 4blu was spacious and spotless, and we got such a warm welcome when we arrived. Maiori is a lovely little town, lively enough to be enjoyable without feeling too touristy. The location was great too. I’m definitely coming back next year!

It’s a peaceful place to stay, far enough from Amalfi’s crowds for a quieter bus ride back. There’s private parking for a reasonable fee, too. The town has a charming feel and lovely locals, and the location is beautiful. You’re also very close to the start of the Path of Lemons, which is a must-do walk.

The host was so accommodating, and the room was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. It’s only a five-minute walk to the beach, and you can easily catch a ferry to other islands. We loved our stay so much that five stars hardly feels like enough. Nearby parking is arranged for 20 euros a day, from check-in until check-out rather than for a full 24 hours. That’s reasonable compared with nearby public lots or hourly rates.

Maiori worked really well as a base for visiting Amalfi, Positano, and the local wineries. The accommodation cost less per night than our Sorrento hostel, and the quality was 1000% better. Lucia was a huge help with bus, boat, and train tips, and she even organized a wine tasting that we loved. The apartment itself was spotless, with comfortable beds and lovely attention to detail in the decor. We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the mornings. Its spot beside the main shopping and restaurant street, close to the beach, was perfect. After dated hotels and soulless Airbnbs, this was such a welcome change.
