Casa Vacanza San Pietro

Booked through TUI. It’s a lovely family-run hotel, clean, tidy, and comfortable. I felt very safe here.

We travelled around the Amalfi coast by bus like the locals. It was hair-raising at times, but a great experience, and the hotel worked well as a base for visiting the area. The staff were brilliant and so helpful, always willing to do whatever they could for us. Our room was comfortable and very clean, and breakfast had a very good selection. I rate the hotel very highly.

The location was perfect, about a 10-minute walk to the beach, with the high street very close and plenty of restaurants to choose from. It was easy to book a ferry to explore Amalfi, Positano, and Capri. We stayed in a clean studio bungalow with a kettle, hob, and microwave in the kitchen. There was an extra set of clean towels, and halfway through the week the cleaners changed the towels and bedding and cleaned the place. The pool was clean, pool towels were free from the bar, and the bar food and drinks were great. The only downside was the tennis courts opposite. We went to bed late but couldn’t sleep in because of the noise. If you’re a night owl, stay in the hotel.

The staff were all very friendly, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection. My husband fell in town and sprained his ankle two days before we were due to go home. The hotel lent us crutches and kindly drove us into town and picked us up outside the shuttle’s scheduled hours. I can’t thank them enough for helping us keep enjoying our holiday. We’d just spent a week here.
