We booked for two people but were given a 7.2m2 room with a single 1.30 m. wide bed. When we pointed out that it was a single room, they insisted it was fine and refused to offer another. There was no hot water in the evening, morning or afternoon. Their response was, "What's the problem? It's not in all the rooms."

My mum, sister and I all loved our stay at Hotel De Rosa. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast had lots of choices and tasted delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it for a great stay.

Maiori worked well as a spring base for exploring the Amalfi Coast. There were fewer tourists and more space than in other coastal towns, plus a beautiful promenade and beachfront. At Hotel De Rosa, the staff were amazingly hospitable and made our stay really relaxed. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a nice balcony. Breakfast coffee was really good, and the staff gave useful advice. The beds were very soft. My friend loved hers, though my back didn't.

Really good value for money. The hotel was clean, in a great spot and had free parking. The two sisters who run it were very nice and helped us a lot. Nearby there's a big supermarket 50 meters away, a fruit and vegetable shop at 40 meters, a laundry 30 meters away that charges 8 euro per Kilo, a deli at 100 meters, restaurants 40-200 meters away, the beach at 150 meters, and a bus stop 200 meters away. Make sure you buy a ticket first. The ferry to Capry is 300 meters away.

A nice little hotel, with friendly staff who speak some English. The beach is 350 Mts away. My single room was small but manageable, and breakfast was really good. The area has plenty going on, so it's not quiet. Families might prefer one of the bigger hotels.
