The mornings are what I keep thinking about: Lake Garda in view, quiet all around, and that forest-fresh air. Agriturismo San Maggiore felt like a little peaceful refuge, with cozy, spotless rooms and so much beauty around it. The hosts were warm and thoughtful, and we felt more like old friends visiting than guests. Breakfast was delicious, with local flavors. Our dog Fenek had lots of space to explore and was treated so kindly. Leaving was unexpectedly hard. I had tears in my eyes and couldn't say goodbye to our host because I knew I'd break down. This place really stayed with me. Thank you from the heart, and I hope we can come back again and again. ❤️ It was the most beautiful week of our lives.

Getting here is an adventure on its own. Even with GPS, it felt like trying to find Red Riding Hood's grandmother's house in the woods, and the property is far from the main road. The Wi-Fi was very weak and unreliable. There isn't a restaurant nearby, so bring your own dinner or make the roughly 20-minute trip down the mountain to Malcesine and back. The owners were rude, too, despite putting on a show of trying to seem nice.

We had a great breakfast, and the view was lovely. The rooms were good too. We thought there'd be a restaurant, but there wasn't, so we hiked 1 km down the mountain to the nearest place.

The place is beautiful and the service was very friendly. In the rooms, the Wi-Fi barely worked for us, so we had to go to the public areas to get online. Air conditioning in the rooms would've been nice as well.

Going for a jog in the surroundings was lovely, and the olive oil was great too. The staff, breakfast, room, and view were all perfect!
