We liked having a mountain-facing room, away from the noise of the main road. The lakeside setting was lovely, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced. Malcesine was about a half-hour walk away, with plenty of spots for swimming, water activities, or watching paragliders land.

The room had a view, and it was clean. The pool was nice too.

The staff were friendly, and the bathroom was clean and well equipped, though it had no towel racks. The room was clean as well, but had no glasses or refrigerator, which I think are standard room items. The location was good, about 100 meters from the bus stop for Malcesine and Riva del Garda. Breakfast was okay apart from the tasteless scrambled eggs. At the bar beside reception, you have to pay cash or charge it to your room, which felt strange and out of place. Those missing glasses, the fridge, and towel racks are why I gave it only three stars.

Swimming in the lake's clear water before breakfast, with that idyllic view, was priceless. The hotel is beautifully maintained and just steps from the lake. The staff were so friendly and helpful that we always felt welcome and looked after. We'll definitely return.
