The garden and pool are beautiful, and the family running the hotel was friendly. The room was clean enough and the balcony view was lovely, but the bed was hard and the pillows felt like stones. They didn’t have a thinner pillow when I asked, and charging extra when I asked to use a towel instead didn’t make me feel cared for. We both ended up with sore necks and backs. The bathroom was also quite dated. Air conditioning and pool towels cost extra. Breakfast was a decent, standard buffet, though it’s served in a basement room instead of the lovely garden. The 80s rock soundtrack felt like an odd fit. At the restaurant, the food was good and homemade, and the wine was good too. But you can only eat in the garden if you order sandwiches. With something like a salad, you’re seated on the roadside terrace, which isn’t as cozy. We had to book by email because we couldn’t find an online booking option. There’s a lot of potential here, and a few small changes could make us want to return. As it was, the lack of flexibility left us feeling they’d missed some chances to make the stay special.

The meal came to just over €60, which felt fair for the quality, and they even brought us a complimentary limoncello. We also received a discount voucher for next time. We’ll be back. We’d come just for dinner and were welcomed warmly by the friendly staff at this family-run place. We had an Italian specialty appetizer platter, shrimp skewers with vegetables, pasta, and tiramisu, along with a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. Everything was excellent. When we returned, it was perfect again. 🤌

After checking out, we were still able to spend the afternoon by the pool and in the lovely garden. Thanks again for letting us do that! :D The family-run hotel is clean, the breakfast is very good, and everyone was friendly and easy to deal with. Prices for drinks or a spontaneous dinner were reasonable too. The Aperol in the picture was delicious, and €4.50 for that size was a good price.
