Casa dei Ricci

Maddalena was always happy to chat over breakfast or offer advice, and each morning she made fresh cakes. There were also homemade jams and yogurt. We spent a week in this welcoming B&B, with beautiful, well-equipped rooms that were spotless and carefully finished. We highly recommend it and hope to return.

The lady who greeted us made us feel at home, and we could store our sports equipment in the garage. Breakfast was generous, with delicious homemade and local products. It’s a small family-run B&B with spacious, charming rooms and careful attention to detail. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Maddalena’s care and management make this B&B a little corner of paradise, and it’s true that word of mouth is the best recommendation. We’d heard great things about it, and our first time in Trentino turned out to be wonderful. Each morning brought more surprise desserts from Maddalena, like strudel and sbrisolina, while Signora Gisella made lovely jams. The location and hospitality convinced us to extend our holiday by a few days, and I’m grateful to Maddalena for that. We left early to follow Napoli’s summer training camp, and along the way we admired the natural spots Andrea, Maddalena’s husband, had suggested. The Saent waterfalls, Caprioli Lake, Madonna di Campiglio, and a bike ride along the Noce River are all not to be missed. We’ll definitely return.

We came back to B&B Casa dei Ricci after a year, and this second stay confirmed all over again how lovely it is. Maddalena looks after every detail, with comfort in mind and tasteful furnishings throughout. She’s so sweet, kind, affectionate, and helpful, and cares for guests as if they were family. The B&B is exceptionally clean. For us, the fact that Maddalena doesn’t host animals is a big plus. We’re not against animals at all, but when they come into contact with bedspreads, armchairs, sofas, and similar furnishings, they leave residues, and that doesn’t feel hygienic for adults or children. Bedspreads, as is well known, aren’t washed as often as sheets. Breakfast is another delight, carefully prepared by Maddalena and laid out on a beautiful table. It includes the cakes and yogurt she makes, tasty jams, strudels made by her very kind mother, and typical local “0 km” products. Those are all flavours worth trying.
