La Locanda del Convento

Vittorio, thanks so much for giving me an oasis along the Cammino di San Benedetto. I loved our conversations, and I’m grateful you introduced me to chestnut honey. Staying with you gave my pilgrimage such a boost. The town and its location are incredible, the accommodations were comfortable and the food delicious. Most of all, you were a gracious, thoughtful host.

The building’s history and the view from my room were lovely, and the location was special. The owner was so helpful, kind, cheerful and friendly.

The food was delicious, and dinner was generous while bringing back the pleasure of simple cooking. The rooms were airy, the bathrooms clean, and everything needed for a comfortable, restful stay was there. Vittorio’s warm welcome at the Locanda makes you feel at home, so it’s a good choice if you want to get away from city chaos. Have a chat with him before and after seeing the town. He can give you the village’s history first, then share its beauty from his deep, human point of view.

At night it gets completely quiet, which isn’t something you can take for granted. The hotel looks out over the hills and greenery, with breathtaking views, and it’s in an excellent location. The fresh breakfast products were delicious, and there was plenty to eat. The rooms were clean and had everything needed. Leave the windows open and the natural air makes for a pleasant, relaxing fan. Vittorio, the owner, was wonderful and helpful, and the services were excellent.
