The dining room staff were the best part of our stay: very friendly, kind, and supportive. The rooms and facilities were good too, and the wellness area was nice, though it was closed for maintenance for most of our stay, so we only got to use it once. That wasn't ideal in high season. Parking was also tight for the number of cars, and finding a space came down to luck. As guests from outside Italy, we didn't feel as welcome as the locals. Reception hadn't told us about the extra afternoon ceremony or special dinner on August 15th. We spent hours trying to find somewhere to eat in town and couldn't, then after a long discussion and explaining how unhappy we were, reception finally found us a table at a pizzeria near the hotel. It's a nice place, but if you're not local and depend on English, don't expect too much.

The hotel looks amazing, and the views from the rooms are amazing too. But the best part was Andrew, one of the waiters. He was so nice and friendly.

Valbona was perfect, and the dining room service was great. Our room was clean, and there’s a special room and dryer for ski equipment. The hotel is close to the center, and once a week the chef has a special surprise. There's a great bus to the ski slopes, plus several saunas and a jacuzzi downstairs. Love this place, perfecto!
