The first apartment we were shown was cold, a little dirty, and had a broken toilet. We arrived late and couldn't get in touch with the owner for a while, but they replied quickly once we raised the issue and moved us to another apartment. Thanks, we really liked everything in the end. Wishing everyone a lovely holiday.

We booked three nights and left after the first, with no compensation offered by the owner. The apartment was filthy, moldy, run-down, and in poor shape. Parking was only available in paid spaces, and they were all full when we visited on a Sunday. The place is right beside the main road, with cars sounding as if they're driving through the apartment. The terrace out front is unusable unless you want exhaust fumes from cars waiting at the traffic light. Not one window opens, only the front door. Simply awful. Just look at the pictures and video.

The apartment was fine, though damp, and the price seemed reasonable for August on Lake Como. They left us a welcome bottle of wine. Paid parking costs 50 euros, or there's a cafe across the street for 5 euros. The best part is the location: a quiet town with several restaurants by the lake. Lecco is just across the street and within walking distance over the bridge.
