Sesvennahof

The hospitality at Sesvannahof really stayed with me. We visited for the first time from October 1 to October 4, 2025, and the farm owners were so friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Edelweiss holiday apartment, which has a fantastic mountain view and a balcony in the sun from morning to evening. It had plenty of dishes and everything we needed to cook. The bathroom is new and modern, the bedroom has lots of storage, and the beds are in excellent condition. Breakfast can be served in a little hut at Sesvannahof, or ordered through the app when booking. In the morning, it arrives at your door in a basket. The farm's own products were SUPER DELICIOUS, just delicious. Kids have a swing and sandbox outside, and there's a garden seating area and a grill guests can use. You can start hiking or biking straight from the door. We took a very good e-bike tour to Schliniger Alm and the Savenna Hut, which is due to reopen in spring 2026. The Schliniger Alm route is even doable with a stroller. If I could give the place 10 stars, I would. Thanks again to the senior manager and her husband for a great stay, and a big THANK YOU to Rebecca, the manager, for her helpful tips and for knowing just what stressed-out city dwellers need. We arrived late because of heavy traffic, but were greeted so warmly. The room was spacious and clean, and they even provided a travel cot for our toddler. Breakfast was served in a romantic setting. Our child loved being able to see the animals in the morning. It was only a one-night stay, but we'd gladly recommend the place.

Our short hiking break was wonderful. The accommodation is in a great spot, and the apartment was spotless, thoughtfully furnished, and decorated with care. Breakfast had lots of variety and was prepared with real care. The farm family were all very friendly and accommodating. Whenever we had a question about trails or anything else, we got a quick answer, or the hostess would find out and get back to us promptly. You can tell they run the place with passion.

We felt very comfortable in this lovely apartment. It's in a great location, and the house itself is nicely situated. The owners deserve a special mention for being so friendly and helpful. The town has everything you need, with plenty of hiking routes starting there and restaurants within walking distance. Highly recommended.
