Casale Fonterosa

The location was handy for Saturnia (Cascatelle) and Montemerano, both just a few kilometers away. On arrival, we got a parking permit for Cascatelle, so we could use the €4 all-day resident rate instead of paying €2.50 per hour. The farmhouse was spotless, with a private entrance, and the pool was cleaned every day. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the upstairs bedroom had its own terrace. Mrs. Rita made us feel so welcome. We spent 3 days here.

We were especially glad to have Rita there. She was very kind, always available, and quick to help with our requests. The apartment at Casale Fonterosa was clean and well organized, with comfortable beds and a kitchen stocked with what we needed. Outside, everything was beautiful and well kept, from the tables and chairs to the loungers and sofas under the patio. There was a large barbecue and a lovely pool, too. It was excellent value and we'd highly recommend it. Montemerano is just minutes away, and Terme di Saturnia is nearby.

Our family had a relaxing weekend, using two apartments in the farmhouse. Rita was very kind and did her best to meet all our needs. The property was clean, welcoming, and well organized, and we spent peaceful days in the large, well-kept garden and by the pool. It's also conveniently placed for reaching Terme di Saturnia and Cascate del Mulino.

It felt just like home, and we'll be back. On April 15, 2023, we returned from Casale Fonterosa after a wonderful stay. Even with the rain, Mrs. Rita was waiting at the entrance with a warm, engaging smile and showed us to our apartment. It was spotless, cozy, and had all the comforts we needed, including a barbecue grill. The garden and pool were charming, the price was excellent, and the thermal baths were close by, as was the historic center of Montemerano. I'd recommend it to everyone. ❤️
