We spent about six days here, and each day brought something different. The owners gave us great suggestions for exploring the Maremma, including its food and wine. Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano, and Rocchette di Fazio are lovely historic villages to visit; Saturnia Hot Springs are 15 minutes away, and Argentario is about 45 minutes away. We enjoyed the Feniglia bike route, starting in Ansedonia, going through Obetello, and coming back. The rooms were comfortable, with careful cleaning and fresh linens. Il Fischiotto was a treat, the food was delicious and the wine even better, especially the estate's own wines. I'll also remember lying on a sun lounger in the evenings and looking up at a sky full of stars. I rarely see one like that. Thanks and greetings to Fabio and Ombretta. Paolo Isabella Leonardo

The rooms are excellent, breakfast is hearty, and Il Fischiotto serves Maremma specialties alongside wines from the estate. Fabio and Ombretta are cultured, genuinely friendly hosts who are always ready to help with guests' needs. The farmhouse is well kept and sits among vineyards, olive groves, and woods in the Maremma hills, with wide views reaching toward Mount Amiata. Nearby, you can visit Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Saturnia, Montemarano, and Scansano for their history, museums, architecture, culture, and traditional food. Orbetello, Argentario, Uccellina Park, and the sea are also easy to reach. It's a lovely place to recharge before heading back to work, and I highly recommend it.

The grilled meat was the highlight for me, though the cured meats and cheeses were excellent too. A relaxed lunch or dinner here is a good way to enjoy Maremma produce. Pair it with wine from the owners' farm.

Ombretta and Fabio made us feel so welcome. They're the young, lively managers here, and the property itself is lovely, surrounded by nature and very inviting. The farm's own honey and merum are worth making the trip for on their own ;-) I recommend this agriturismo to everyone.
